The Sun, The Mountain, and The Blade of Grass

The blade of grass said one day to the mountain, “your shadow is too big would you mind moving?”

The mountain said to the blade of grass, “you are too small to receive sunlight in my shadow, would you mind moving?”

The blade of grass said to the mountain, “I do not know how to move, and even if I did, I might die.”

The mountain said to the blade of grass, “I as well do not know how to move, and if I did, I might fall apart.”

The blade of grass said to the mountain, “If you just asked the sun, maybe they could move so the shadow wouldn’t be there and I could grow tall enough like the trees.”

So the mountain asked the sun and the sun said to the blade of grass and the mountain, “with patience I will move, as with all things, you will have your chance”.
