One day there was a founder and he had a great idea. So, they went and told everybody before they were prepared and it turned out that the idea was not feasible. No one got their reward that they dreamed of.
A while later the same founder had another idea. So, went and said to the same people, “oh gosh this is a great idea”, and so they came and helped build it. Yet, it turned out the idea was not feasible because of the team. No one got their reward that they dreamed of.

The founder had two choices in front of them. Try to convince them or find a different crowd that believed.

It’s an interesting story that brings up a fascinating dichotomy of perspectives about the people around us currently being possibly those that will lift us up or maybe, the wolves that consume us. Or the market that denies us being something like the woods that we get lost in without the right people, map, or circumstances. Or ultimately, that the next group of people might be those that will lift us up or wolves themselves.
So we are asking the question of who creates the boy, the wolf, and the environment? We also have some interesting interplay between preparation, team, and the market.
Either way this gives us pause to think about what we know we should do and how to get to know that, the same for the people that we will work with, and where we will do that.
Heres some great stuff around Sisyphus who is depicted in the picture at the top. If you’re not familiar check it out, especially if you’re founding a company.

Just a word of wisdom here that when you take risks there are things that you can lose, and those things can affect the way people see you. That is an inherent risk to anything where you work with people. However there is a balance of things like love, self-love or love for others which are free that parallel with things like means like money and status which are transactional and less valuable outside of the groups that generate them. In summary yes there are risks however there is a balance of self and others in a word of abundance and scarcity. So, keep on trucking towards what you would like and try to be resilient in balance.
